Steph Rocks!

Steph competed in the Viking Man half-Ironman Triathalon today. It was up in Burley, ID and there was no way we girls were going to make her do it all by her lonesome; there was also no way we girls would survive actually competing in it. So, we did the next best thing, the six of us rented a minivan and drove up to Idaho at the crack of dawn, actually dawn wasn't even cracking when we started driving. It was early. We were there for Steph when she transitioned from swimming to the bike. We yelled and cheered for her, so she'd know we were there. We were able to see her quite a bit on the bike route, we would drive a 5 or so miles ahead and wait for her to pass, and then drive another 5 miles and wait. We became professional cheerleaders, and I'm pretty sure the other participants appreciated us. After 56 miles of biking she made it to the running section, we continued to drive a little ways ahead of her and cheer her on. She did absolutely amazing, not to mention the fact she was super sick. We were glad we could go cheer her on! Pictures will be up at some point...
