One More Wedding Weekend

Three days and three trips down to Seth's parent's house and we can happily say Laura and Dan are officially celebrated...again!

It was a late night Friday, and although Seth and I were not too tired to drive home, Hazel begged to stay and have a sleepover.  Grandma liked that idea, and so we left Hazel at Grandma's.  Hazel seemed pretty excited to see us the next morning...
But, be careful when you leave your Ute child unattended with Grandma and Grandpa, they will do their best to convert her to the ways of a cougar.  Thankfully, Hazel wasn't too thrilled to be rocking a BYU t-shirt, we'll take that as a good sign!
We spent the morning playing croquet, football, lounging in the hammocks, and playing bocce.  Hazel continued to rock some awesome outfits, in a great mismatched kind of way.
As the day wore on, the backyard transformed.  It looked amazing.

Can you find the bride and grooom?
Although the reception was a lot of fun, I think Hazel is about done with weddings for the time being.  She was looking for anything to distract her (not to mention she was feeling under the weather).
She really took to climbing the rock wall in the backyard, she ignored her parents warnings and learned about rocks, chins, and ouches the hard way.
One of my favorite moments of the evening was when Seth, Ryan along with Joanie's violin accompaniament, serenaded the new couple with a touching rendition of the Land Before Time theme.  It was, uh, harmonious?
I really enjoyed hanging out with this guy.
So, I'd just like to say, "Two thumbs up, Laura and Dan- we're so happy for you!"
Oh! I almost forgot, we made a third trip down Sunday so that this girl could say Happy Birthday to Aunt Laura! (And to show off her awesome teeth)
