Yes. There is a serious lack of photos documenting this day in our Christmas Break Spectacular. Just try to imagine a day spent with some of the best-est, dear-est, wonderful-est friends e.v.e.r., and you'll get the picture.
How could the day not be awesome when it started with donuts from this place?
Hazel wanted to add to the festive holiday, by creating "snow" in Los Angeles. Mental Note: make sure brand new box of Kleenex is not within reach when child is napping.
(The picture doesn't do it justice, it was everywhere...and she'd been so kind as to shred each tissue to make it fluffier!)
We braved the rainy weather and got lunch at The Grove. Mmmm.
We had such a great time, and the time flew by too fast. Before we knew it, it was time to say peace out.
Once again, Hazel was fascinated by a little person, sweet Naomi (we hope this fascination sticks around for little baby to come!)
A quick glance at the time and we realized we'd have just enough time to get to Doug & Mollie's Reception: Part Two. (The whole reason for our stop in Southern California).
Thoughts of showers, shaving and make up all went out the window as traffic ground to a halt somewhere between Venice and Cerritos. We made it just-in-time and enjoyed celebrating the cute new couple with their Cali friends.
(Somehow we managed zero, zilch, nada pics of the reception. We really were there!)

It just dawned on me that I had our camera with us all day long and didn't get a single photo of us as a group. Lame us.
I'm glad you got one with Naomi and sweet Hazel! We HEART her!
It was won-der-ful to see you. Love you!
