The idea was perfect. Celebrate the 4th of July at a Southern Maryland Blue Crabs game. Unfortunately the weather definitely didn't cooperate! Sheets. Torrents. Pouring. Gushing. Flooding. Yes all words that would describe the rain before the game started. Oh and did I mention the lightening? Because it was close enough in the parking lot to make us squeal and dive back into the car! 
While we meager, fans huddled under the safety of the upper deck, we admired this lone fan. The picture does not show how hard it is raining on him. He was soaked all the way through. 
After about a two hour delay, the game started. Totally worth the wait!

Apparently this is "Pinch" the Blue Crab. (They have removed his pinchers, so as not to scare the small children...lame!)I love fireworks, enjoy our small sampling!
