Mr. & Mrs.

In college, Seth lived with four guys, they were all on the swim team, and they literally, lived, ate, slept and swam together.  (uh, maybe not so much the "sleeping", anyway...). You could say they were close.  When Jorge called to tell Seth he was getting married, one thing was for sure - Seth would not miss it.

The trip was a quick one: Friday morning - Sunday night.

However, in just over 48 hours we were able to fit in a LOT of excitement.

Most importantly.
The wedding festivities.
Rehearsal Dinner - Ceremony - Reception

(three of the four roommates)

Ali was on the swim team, too, so it was like a giant swim team reunion.
Seth had the biggest smile on his face all weekend, it was so fun to be around so many of his old friends.

Everything was BEAUTIFUL.  These kids know how to throw a party!

Ali & Jorge aren't just freakishly cute, super athletic and ridiculously smart ... they are NICE, too!
We are so happy for them, thank you for letting us celebrate with you!

.........

Squished and scheduled around the wedding festivities we managed to...

Visit our brand new nephew T.
(I considered kidnapping him).
Congratulations Ryan & Libbi!

Ran a 10 or 11 miler with my sister.
...probably should not have eaten Cafe Rio & Tuscany the day before - oh, stomach pain!
(And discovered the new home for my niece and nephew's fish).

My brother and his wife gave us a quick tour of "our" campus.
The University of Utah is so stinkin' pretty, it has changed so much since we were there.

We visited the new City Creek mall.
Love it.  Time to move back.

Said "Happy Anniversary" to each other.
(Best 7 years)

 Best Mother's Day brunch.
Best Mom.

Spent some quality time with the nephews.
(They liked watching videos on our phones, Averett's first steps, in particular)

And just like that we were headed back home.

Oh.  Our kids?
They were having a GRAND time with Grandma, Grandpa and Aunt Joanie.

What a weekend!  So busy, but so very fun!  It was so great to be around old friends, and make a few new ones, too.  I think I will have to dedicate a few future posts to the crazy adventures Seth and his roommates had, back in the day.
