I {heart} Ice Cream
Thank you to this fam,
for introducing us to this place.
What a great idea they had:
Beautiful night + yummy ice cream + sweet farm + funny friends = AWESOME
Mmmm, homemade ice cream on the farm.
Yep, it smells like a farm.
I think this is our first picture since baby...and the other one may be our first family picture.
Hazel just might be emerging from her Colic-Schmolic, thus we too are emerging, showered and smiling.

Memorial Memories
Hazel and I were so excited to have Seth home for 4 days in a row. We love the long weekends.
We started off the weekend by wandering down to the boardwalk, we thought we should probably introduce Hazel to the docks, as we love boats.
Then we felt like we should take advantage of the sunny weather and work on the yard. Hazel and I were a BIG help.
On Memorial Day, we hit up a few BBQs, thanks to the families that hosted us, mmm BBQ. :) We ended the festivities at Great-Grandma and Great-Grandpa H's house. Hazel couldn't wait to hang out with Grandma H and practically jumped into her arms.

Hazel was feeling generous and also thought she would giver her Great-Great Aunt Sandy a turn. She was a natural and soon had Hazel passed out.
The weekend was exhausting, and as a present to her parents, Hazel decided to play on her playmat all by herself. This is quite possibly the first time in her bless-ed 10 weeks of life that she has been happy by herself. PRAISE BE!

They're Lurking...
She Does It All!
Oh wait...Seth is the one that cleaned the house...works on laundry...runs errands...walks with Hazel when she's fussy... AND mowed the lawn (which was an accomplishment considering how much it's grown from the rain).

Hazel Highlights - Month 2
- I like this place called the Chesapeake Bay, is it like a bath? I love baths!
- How come you're so lovey-dovey today? Um, what does anniversary mean?
- What? There's something other than onesies?
- Sorry, Mom, I didn't have a lot of money to buy you a gift, but how about I give you a really big smile today.
- I hear all the fun happens after I go to bed, that's why I'm doing my best to stay awake all night, I don't want to miss anything.
- Daddy-daughter time is the best, he walks with me for hours in the middle of the night. How cool!
- Hey look! More friends, they're little like me!
- Mom! You CAN sew. (I really liked the sweet patching you did on your favorite jeans.)
- Thanks for letting me hang out at the great-grandparents...they are grrreat! If you look close you can tell great-grandma has babysat some mischievous kids.
- Oh, I like church, I get to hang out with my ladies.
- Do you like the game I'm playing? Sleep really well for a few nights, just to make you comfortable, then BAM! I'm wide awake for the next several nights...I'm keeping you on your toes!
- Gooo, ahhhh, laaaa. Is that me making those cute sounds?
- I can smile without passing gas!
- I'm a little bitter that you didn't take me to the salon to get my hair done.
- Mom, I like hanging out with you sooo much, I try not to sleep during the day, that's why I like to always be with you.
- Um, what on earth is that? You can't be serious. Please tell me we're not going out in public...we ARE?

Hazel does the Boardwalk
Hazel noticed it was a pretty day, and said, "Hey Mom, let's call some friends, grab some ice cream and go to the boardwalk." I'm a sucker, so we went!
Hazel was awesome, not sure if she's really mine, she wasn't crying.
Gosh, where did the kids go?
Hazel finally has a friend that is smaller than her! Mr. Aiden, they partied so hard at the boardwalk, they passed out in the car.

Marriage Rocks!
I heart Seth. Happy 4 years to us. To say it's been amazing would be an understatement.
I was in charge this year, and I've had a grand plan for nearly a year...the grand plan has been postponed due to baby. Thankfully Seth didn't mind and was thrilled by the new camera stuff I got him, including this lens.
If Seth's hairstylist doesn't take care of that hair soon...oh, right...I think the bathrooms are higher up on the list, they haven't been cleaned since Mom G was here. (Don't judge).

Little Mudder!
I am a Mom. Weird. I swear Seth and I were just enjoying our "single" years and then BAM... Nine months of puking and nausea (yes, all nine months), back labor followed by delivery, and two months of a beautiful, crying baby. Yes, I am a Mom with a lot to learn!
This morning I woke up to my favorite guy singing, "Happy Mother's Day to you..." in he walks with the works for breakfast. The first time I have ever had breakfast in bed!
